Dreams Come True

 

October 16 was a special day for YMCA Challenger athletes, families, volunteers, supporters and the community as we dedicated and cut the ribbon for our new Fred and Shirley Pryor YMCA Challenger Sports Complex.

Hundreds of people joined us for the much anticipated celebration. There were many smiles, lots of laughter and a few tears of joy.

On those irregular days when school isn't in session, such as seasonal breaks, conference days and inservice days, YMCA No School Days provide affordable, quality child care for school age kids.

We fill the day with lots of games, activities, sports, crafts and just plain fun. We even provide a morning and afternoon snack.

Join the YMCA of Greater Kansas City for the Chiefs games on November 21. Tickets are available for $25.

 

For every ticket sold, the Chiefs will donate $10 back to the YMCA of Greater Kansas City. It's part of the Chiefs Give Back fundraising program.

Sign Up Now for Winter Sports

 

The YMCA is a great place for your kids to stay active and learn about sports during the winter months.

 

Area YMCAs are offering Youth Basketball for kids in kindergarten through seventh grade, as well as Bitty Basketball, which offers several practices and instructional games for ages 3-4.
